The First Post

Ah. The smell of a new blog. So nice, so fresh, and yet so scary. I start full of great ideas for all kinds of posts, but what to write for the first post? The classic "blank page" syndrome, intensified by knowing your child will go out immediately into the world for all to see. So this post is to get over that.

I'm finding my current blog (http://asantaballa.wordpress.com) lots of fun. But the fun comes from being able to make it my own slate, for whatever subjects happen to catch my fancy at the moment. I've been wanting for a while to make it more technical, but realized I don't really want that. I like it just the way it is. Hence the Technowati blog is born. This one can be more formally tech, though I hope to continue with a bit of humor here and there.

Whew! Glad that's out of the way. Now I can concentrate on the real blogging. The second post is never scary, right?
